Heritage Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch Pool Party Slated For Oct. 7
Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson’s fourth annual Heritage Harvest Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 S. Racetrack Rd. Admission to the all-ages festival is free; children must be accompanied by an adult.
The festival includes three hours of hands-on activities for all ages, including a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, carnival-style games, craft fair featuring more than 30 vendors, senior health and wellness booths and live entertainment. The Western-themed Mama’s Wranglers family band performs at 11 a.m. Guests will be treated to free popcorn and candy, with additional refreshments available for purchase.
Following the festival from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Rd., is hosting a Pumpkin Patch Pool Party. The all-ages party features bounce houses and slides, a Halloween-themed movie on a giant inflatable screen, music, diving for pumpkins and pumpkin painting. Registration is $3 per person and can be made at cityofhenderson.com (activity code 436000), at any indoor pool or recreation center, or during Heritage Harvest Festival.
The senior facility and aquatic complex are located adjacent to one another on the Heritage Park campus. Ample parking is available.
