Insurance Company ANPAC Grows with Henderson

American National Property and Casualty Company (ANPAC) agency manager, Jarod Morgan is a Henderson resident whose insurance agency is growing within the Henderson & Vegas Valley.

Jarod’s role at ANPAC is to develop and manage agents as well as build an agency of clients. He oversees two full time staff and manages 13 agents. ANPAC is an insurance company that offers automobile, home, life insurance and more.

Jarod joined ANPAC in 2002 and became a manager in 2012. Before getting into the field of insurance he was a marketing and finance student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During that time, he was also bussing tables in the Henderson area during the day and djing at night.

When his insurance agent recruited him to ANPAC during an insurance annual review, he was in the process of learning about another insurance company. He had little knowledge in the field and had achieved his insurance licenses, but felt ANPAC was a better fit. Jarod interviewed with the regional manager and the rest is history.

For those interested in pursuing this field, he mentioned the importance of having great people skills, in addition to getting licensed. “Any sales career, especially insurance, you want to be a people person willing to meet people, be likable and trustworthy,” said Jarod.

Jarod finds Henderson to be a strength to his insurance agency and sales field alike. He mentioned how it’s a growing community and one he enjoys being a part of. Being from New York, which he describes as a place where everything is already built, he finds Henderson to be a place for growing opportunities.

“In Henderson it feels like there’s this growth and opportunity. Just around my office there are condos, residential, commercial buildings, restaurants, places being built! I believe it’s a sign of a growing community and comes with lots of opportunity for sales people.”

Jarod took the opportunity to get involved in the community by taking a seat on the agent committee with the Nevada Division of Insurance for the next two years. His role is to be a part of changes and regulations in insurance for consumers and agents.
