Mayor’s December ‘March On’ Community Meeting to Focus on Planning for the Future of Henderson

WHAT: Mayor’s ‘March On’ community meeting highlighting planning for the community’s future, the Henderson Strong comprehensive plan and redevelopment efforts

Mayor Debra March will host her December March On community meeting to give residents an overview of current and future development plans for Henderson and the city’s work on redevelopment opportunities in the community. Attendees can also enjoy free tacos while mingling with Mayor March and city staff.
Community Development and Services Director Stephanie Garcia-Vause and Redevelopment Manager Mark Hobaica will present the Henderson Strong Comprehensive Plan and discuss improvements along Water Street and redevelopment efforts that are paving the way for the future of Henderson.
“I invite everyone to come out for this informative discussion about planning for Henderson’s future. We’ll be looking at redevelopment and how we build the foundation for long-term economic success and community vitality by guiding future growth and development in our community,” explained Mayor March.
Mayor March will be joined by City staff and community partners including NV Energy and the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada and there will be informational displays on issues of community interest.
The Mayor’s monthly March On meetings are designed to encourage an open dialogue between neighbors and city leaders regarding issues of importance to those who live in the City of Henderson. March On meetings are held at various times and locations around Henderson to provide a variety of opportunities for residents to attend.
