Summer Reading Challenge

Henderson Libraries annual Summer Reading Challenge kicked off on June 4th with fun events at each of our branches, including crafts, games, martial arts performances, and STEAM activities.

There are three age levels for participation (Read to Me: ages 0-4, Kids: ages 5-9, and Tweens/Teens: ages 10-17), and there’s still plenty of time to register, either online or in the library. As kids read, they can earn fun prizes, including treats from Great Harvest Bread Company and Rita’s Italian Ice, and passes to Bounce U and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Logging in their reading minutes also gets them tickets for our raffles where they can win a birthday party package from King Putt Mini Golf, passes to Discovery Children’s Museum and Springs Preserve, LEGO kits, and more!
