About Green Valley High School
The school was built in 1991 and has approximately 3,000 students from grades 9-12. Green Valley is more liberal with their zoning variances than Coronado, but generally draws from neighborhoods in the Green Valley North, Green Valley South and Whitney Ranch areas.
Green Valley is know for stellar extracurricular activities, including a highly ranked forensic (debate) team, drama department and music programs. Green Valley is competitive in nearly all sports programs for boy and girls
As of the 2015-2016 academic year, school begins at 7:05am and ends at 1:16pm.
